Online ordering and pickup slots for a group of farm-to-table restaurants in Lisbon.
Overview
Harvest Table runs three farm-to-table restaurants in Lisbon. During the pandemic they needed online ordering fast, and they wanted it to feel like their restaurants rather than a delivery marketplace.
The challenge
The menu changes every day depending on what the farms deliver, and the kitchen team needed to update it from a phone between services, without calling a developer.
What I built
- An ordering site with pickup slots that respect each kitchen's real capacity.
- A content workflow where the chef updates the daily menu from a phone in under two minutes.
- Card payments with automatic receipts and a simple dashboard for refunds.
Results
Online orders grew to 38% of total revenue within a year, and the restaurants avoided marketplace fees of around 30% per order. The group still runs on the platform today.
